Philips 5.0 Ultra Slim Digital Camera

Background: Philips carries a line of three 5 mega-pixel cameras with an identical case and appearance, the SIC4525BB/27, the SIC4524BB/27 and the SIC4523BB/27.  For details, see: Digital Camera info at Philips.com

I recently purchased this unit via eBay, from an auction which stated that it was an SIC4525, a unit I've been seeking for it's AV input capability.  For reference, see the original auction:

Unfortunately for me, this unit appears to be an SIC4524.  All of the picture-taking, movie-mode and voice recording features are the identical between the SIC4524 and the SIC4525, but the AV Input capability I'm seeking is not a feature on the SIC4524.  (Neither is the MP3 player feature, which was not of interest to me anyway).

Identifying the unit was, shall we say, an adventure.

CD-ROM (SIC4524) which arrived with unit
(Unfortunately, the model number listed on the CD-ROM
was the very last thing I noticed!)

(Note the different models listed on the CD & manual.)

Update - 2007-09-25

As I'd guessed, the indented area on the bottom of the camera
is where a label identifying the model should appear.  From a
trip to a local Philips' retailer:

This unit is an inexpensive, nice, ultra-compact unit.

However, I already own several budget digital cameras,
and only needed this one for the one feature most folks
would never want or need (and which it doesn't have).

So it goes to eBay - and hopefully to you!
